What Does This Mean To Your Local Small Business?
You best (at least) fill out your Google profile completely as outlined in the video; and stay logged in on Google. For bonus points and if you want to get a head start on being dominant and grabbing most of the business, register at as many of the below sites, as you have time to maintain… (I know — it’s a lot!)
Google Reader Subscribe to your favorite sites and get them all in one place.
YouTube If you are making videos (and you should be!!) create a Channel on YouTube.
FaceBook Build a page for your business (if you can update it regularly).
Picasa Web Albums Upload and tag your photos – put your business on there!
Flickr Upload and tag your photos – put your business photos up there.
Twitter Tweet about your life – but no more than 30 minutes a day!
Blogger An easy place to build that blog you’ve been itching to do.
FriendFeed You can aggregate all your social media platforms into one place.
Local Listing Sites (yelp, yellowpages.ca, weblocal.ca, etc.)
