Top Local Rankings was born out of realization that old broadcast media were in for some changes… big changes. TV, Radio stations and Newspapers are closing. Newspaper, TV, Radio, Yellow Page and magazine advertising is decreasing. The internet is the only media that is expanding in use and advertising dollars. The internet search engines have become the place to look for a business.

The internet is evolving and people are evolving with it. It's used in very different ways now – like on mobile phones; like Facebook, and Twitter; and how search for local information is growing rapidly.
